We are delighted to introduce our Head Boy and Head Girl, who have already made a thoughtful and enthusiastic start to their roles. In this short interview, they share their reflections on what the role means to them, the values that matter most, and what makes Richmond House such a special place.

What did it feel like when you found out you had been chosen as Head Boy or Head Girl?

Head Girl:
I was quite surprised at first, but once the shock wore off, I felt really excited about what I could do for the school and proud to have been given the opportunity.

Head Boy:
I felt similar. I was surprised at first, then proud and really happy to have been chosen.

What does being Head Boy or Head Girl mean to you?

Head Girl:
It’s about being a role model, helping younger pupils, and supporting the school. It also means helping to organise activities and working with teachers to make the school even better.

Head Boy:
I think it’s about setting a good example, helping others, and getting involved in organising events and supporting pupils across the school.

Which school values stand out to you most?

Head Girl:
Kindness is really important. If everyone is kind, it creates a happy community where everyone can enjoy school.

Head Boy:
I think enjoyment is really important. School should be somewhere pupils want to come to because it’s fun and engaging.

Do you think this is a place where children are happy to learn?

Head Girl:
Yes, definitely. You can see pupils coming into lessons with smiles, ready to learn.

Head Boy:
I agree. Children enjoy learning here, and the lessons are fun and engaging.

What do you most enjoy about the school?

Head Boy:
I really enjoy the sport. Everyone gets involved, no matter their ability, and everyone is encouraged to try their best.

Head Girl:
I love the mix of cultures and specialist teachers. It makes the school feel really exciting and unique.

What do you think of Richmond House School?

Head Boy:
It’s a great school, where you learn a lot, and still have fun.

Head Girl:
It’s a welcoming and supportive school with kind pupils and teachers. Learning is enjoyable, and it’s a place you want to come back to every day.
