Today Richmond House pupils and staff came together to mark World Mental Health Day, with this year’s theme focusing on “Access to Services.”
At Richmond House, we believe that nurturing positive mental health is just as important as supporting academic success. To recognise this important day, pupils took part in activities that highlighted the strong connection between physical exercise and mental wellbeing, from boosting endorphins and lifting mood to encouraging teamwork and resilience.
Everyone was invited to wear a yellow accessory alongside their school uniform, symbolising support, kindness, and awareness of mental health.
Throughout the day, each year group also enjoyed a golf session, a sport that promotes focus, patience, and respect. The calm and mindful nature of golf helps reduce stress and build confidence, making it the perfect way to celebrate both physical and mental wellbeing.
At Richmond House, we continue to embed wellbeing into every part of school life, ensuring all pupils have the tools and support they need to thrive, in body and mind.
