Our Headteacher, Mrs Young, reflects on the first half of the Autumn term:
“Looking back on our first half term, I am struck by just how much our children experienced and achieved in only six weeks. From inspiring lessons and ambitious learning projects to trips, fixtures, clubs and community events, every day was filled with opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.
What makes me most proud is the way our pupils embraced these opportunities. Their enthusiasm, kindness, resilience and willingness to get involved reflect the very best of our school values and make our community such a vibrant place to be. My sincere thanks go to our dedicated staff for all they do to make these experiences possible.
It was a true community effort, and we enjoyed some fantastic Parents’ Association activities, including the wonderfully spooky trail during the final week of term – a lovely example of the creativity and dedication among our parents. Thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support; I see your contributions every day.
Our Harvest celebration on the final morning of term, with its focus on thankfulness, was a fitting way to round off such a busy and successful six weeks. I hope all our families are enjoying a well-deserved half-term break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting half term.”
