📚 Earlier this term, as part of our World Book Day celebrations, we held a Book Drive in support of the Children’s Book Project, and what an incredible response we had!
Thanks to your generosity, we collected a remarkable 703 pre-loved books in excellent condition – a fantastic increase from 513 last year and 300 in our very first year. These books will soon find new homes with children and families who may not otherwise have access to books of their own.
Following the drive, we were thrilled to receive this message from The Children’s Book Project:
“From the entire team at The Children’s Book Project, we send our heartfelt thanks for your incredible support in hosting a Book Drive for us. Your community has truly demonstrated the power of giving. Each book donated will soon be gifted to a child with an invitation to go on an adventure and become lost in a story they can own and love. These books will be distributed via schools and prisons, helping to nurture a strong sense of reading within each setting.”
