We are incredibly proud of our U11 Netball team for their outstanding performance in the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) Regional Qualifiers.
On a crisp afternoon at Woodhouse Grove, the team delivered an exceptional display of skill, energy, and determination, winning five out of six matches. Their only narrow defeat came against the team that secured a place at nationals, losing by just two goals. Despite the disappointment of missing out on qualification, the girls should be immensely proud of their achievement, demonstrating fantastic teamwork and resilience throughout the competition.
Headteacher, Sharon Young, praised the team’s efforts, stating:
“Our pupils played brilliantly throughout the tournament, with each player making a significant impact both in defence and attack. They are a special group of players who have worked tirelessly in their time at Richmond House, and have represented Richmond House with pride. A huge thank you to the parents who came to support and cheer on the team, it was wonderful to have such encouragement from the sidelines!”
