We are incredibly proud of Emmie, Kyla, Willow, and Theo for their exceptional performances at the 28th Primary Schools’ Team Championships held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield over the weekend.

The team achieved an impressive 8th place nationally in the small schools category for the Mixed Stroke Medley Relay and 10th place in the Freestyle Relay. Remarkably, they also shaved 6 seconds off their qualifying times for both events.

Headteacher Mrs Young, who travelled to Sheffield to support the team, commented: “Occasionally, I think I am guilty of taking for granted a little that our pupils are such talented sports people but on Saturday I was reminded of how incredibly dedicated and determined our pupils are, that their achievements are also down to hard work and a passion to succeed. It also struck me how supportive they were to one another. I often feel blessed to be part of this amazing school and Saturday was one of those moments.”
