Rocco the Richmond House Bear is officially on display as part of the Leeds Bear Hunt public art trial, and you can find him in his new home, located in Leeds City Museum.
The Bear Hunt has been organised by Leeds Hospital Charities who are working with creative producers Wild in Art to present a large-scale public art trail for 10 weeks from the 1 July 2023.
Decorated by local, national and international artists, designers and illustrators, 35 giant Bear sculptures are hide in plain sight on the streets of Leeds.
The Bears form a family-friendly trail of discovery, bringing Michael Rosen’s iconic ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ story to life, and taking visitors and local people on adventures around the city and surrounding open spaces.
Richmond House artists collaborated to design and paint Rocco and we think they have done a marvellous job!
