During this term, pupils in Years 3 to 6 have enjoyed a range of exciting residential experiences.

  • Year 6 had a wonderful time in Paris where they explored the French capital, took in the sights, immersed themselves in the culture, practiced their French and ate a lot of delicious food.
  • Year 5 had an action-packed four days of Outdoor Pursuits at Bewerley Park which included: climbing, abseiling, and scrambling at Brimham Rocks, a hike up Simon’s Seat, high ropes, canoeing, orienteering and several teamwork challenges. Pupils conquered fears, showed resilience, advanced communication and teamwork skills, and had a brilliant time.
  • Year 4 participated in a range of exciting activities and enjoyed experiences that helped them to develop a range of skills and confidence during their residential at High Adventure. They returned with some wonderful memories.
  • Year 3 had a super time on their two-night residential at Robin Hood’s Bay. This was the first time they have done two nights away from home as part of a school trip with Richmond House. This proper Yorkshire cultural experience saw them enjoy several activities, walks, and visits, and was topped off with delicious fish and chips, and ice cream.

These incredible residentials were made possible thanks to the dedication of our staff and we are grateful to them for facilitating these wonderful experiences for our pupils.
