Ready for Reception: An Outdoor Adventure

As you know, all bears love being outdoors, and Rocco is no different! Families preparing for Reception in 2026–27 are invited to join him in the Richmond House Secret Garden for a morning of nature-based exploration, before a trip to the magical Yurt for some story time. Along the way, your little ones will enjoy hands-on activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of the outdoors.

This adventure is free of charge and will commence at the Richmond House School Wooden Pagoda.
Parking is available in the school car park which is located on Glen Road.
For those driving, park in the carpark, then walk up the path towards our adventure playground, turn right and you will see the Wooden Pagoda next to the tennis and netball courts. Someone will be there to welcome you.
Dress in appropriate clothing — wellies, coats, and hats and gloves if it’s a little chilly.
