Our Year 5 pupils travelled to Giggleswick School recently to take part in the annual Gigg Challenge, joining pupils from a number of other schools for a full day of activities, teamwork and new experiences.
Throughout the day, the children were put to the test across an exciting range of challenges, including Music, Robotics, Sport, CCF, Design, Science and Languages. It was a fantastic opportunity to try something different, work together as a team and put their creativity, problem-solving and communication skills into action.
After a brilliant performance across the different challenges, we were absolutely delighted when Richmond House was announced as the overall winner of the 2026 Gigg Challenge!
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, determination and teamwork our pupils showed throughout the day, as well as the fantastic way they represented Richmond House. A huge thank you to Giggleswick School for welcoming us and putting together such a brilliant day – and congratulations to our Year 5 team!
