We are delighted to introduce our new Heads of School, taking on an important role in representing our pupils and helping to make Richmond House the very best it can be.
Both are incredibly excited about the responsibilities ahead, from supporting younger pupils and sharing their ideas for the school, to welcoming prospective families and telling them all about life at Richmond House.
What came through particularly strongly when speaking to them both was their desire to help others. They hope to set a positive example for our younger pupils and help them feel confident, comfortable and included in school.
As our Head Girl explained: “It makes you feel good when you know you’ve helped someone and made a difference.”
Naturally, our PEAK values will be at the heart of how they approach their new roles. While both agreed that all four are important, Kindness stood out.
Our Head Boy shared why he feels kindness is so important: “If you are kind, it creates a spark and makes other people want to be kind too. Then it can spread to everyone.”
The pair also shared what they love about Richmond House. Our Head Boy highlighted the huge variety of subjects and lessons on offer, while our Head Girl said the school “helps push you to be the best that you can be.”
Perhaps our Head Boy summed up what they will now help to represent as Heads of School best:
“This school is like a family. Everyone is included and no one is left out.”
We can’t wait to see them embrace their responsibilities, share their ideas and make a positive contribution to school life throughout the term and year.
