This year’s Prize Day celebrations at the Howard Assembly Rooms were a joyful and uplifting reflection of everything that makes Richmond House School so special. Across two spectacular events, we honoured the achievements of our pupils from Reception to Year 6.
Pupils in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 took to the stage in the morning and delighted families with their performances before receiving their well-deserved awards.
In the afternoon, the celebrations continued with an inspiring and emotional ceremony for pupils in Years 3 to 6. Richmond House alumnus and professional rugby player, Obi Ene, joined us as our guest of honour, delivering a powerful speech that shared his journey from RHS pupil to professional athlete. His story of resilience, dedication, and passion was truly motivating. We were also joined by former pupil, Eloise, who sang a beautiful rendition of ‘Die on this Hill’ that captivated those in attendance.
Our Chair of Governors, Helen Handy, also gave a heartfelt address, reflecting on the strength of our school community and the successes of the year. The event featured superb performances, the presentation of awards, and concluded with the much-anticipated Year 6 leavers’ video – a touching and fitting farewell to a remarkable group of pupils.
