Our talented Year 6 pupils have been busy over the past few weeks in their weekly Yarning Club, where they have been learning the wonderful skills of crocheting and knitting.

Using their creativity and perseverance, the pupils produced a fantastic range of handmade items, including bear coasters, flower keyrings, pencil toppers and colourful scrunchies. This week, they proudly hosted a sale for the Richmond House community, raising an impressive £65.25 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The event was a wonderful showcase of the pupils’ creativity, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.

Meanwhile, another group of Year 6 pupils organised their own bake sale in support of Elliot’s Footprint. After baking a delicious selection of homemade treats, they sold them to the Richmond House community, raising an incredible £136 for the charity.

We are immensely proud of all of our Year 6 pupils for using their talents and initiative to support two such worthwhile causes. Their kindness, creativity and generosity have made a real difference.
