Our Reception pupils put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test this week during an exciting outdoor learning challenge.
Working collaboratively, the children were tasked with creating a system to transport water from a tap as far as possible using a range of resources, including gutters, ramps, and supports. Throughout the activity, they experimented with different designs, tested their ideas, and made improvements as they went along.
The challenge encouraged pupils to think like engineers, applying their understanding of gravity, angles, and flow while working together to overcome problems. There was plenty of discussion, trial and error, and celebration when a successful solution was found.
