We are delighted to introduce our Head Pupils for the Spring Term. Both have shown great kindness, maturity and a strong sense of responsibility, and they are already making a positive impact around the school. We caught up with them to hear how they are feeling about their new roles and what Richmond House means to them.
Our Head Girl shared how much she is enjoying the responsibility of being Head of School:
“I am already really enjoying being Head of School. It is a very important role because you are someone that people look up to. Other pupils ask you questions and talk to you about things they would like to change, and I want to lead by example. I have been at Richmond House since Reception, and I remember looking up to the Head Pupils when I was little. The school feels like a family – everyone is really nice and you are always made to feel welcome. The teachers are always there to help and support you, and it’s nice that people feel they can come to us. I am really looking forward to working with Mrs Young.”
Our Head Boy spoke proudly about taking on the role and supporting others:
“Being Head of School is a big achievement and a big step up, and I am really proud to be chosen and trusted with this responsibility. I like helping other people, and it feels good when you can make a difference. I joined in Year 4, and everyone helped me to settle in straight away – I never felt like an outsider. Everyone is really kind and caring. I’ve already had pupils come up to me asking for help, and when you can get to the bottom of things and help someone feel better, it’s a really nice feeling.”
