We are delighted to introduce Mr Ben Wicks, who has recently joined Richmond House School as our Sports Coach, bringing with him a wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for sport.

Mr Wicks studied Football Coaching (FdSc) at St Mary’s University and is currently studying Science of Sport Performance (BSc) at Leeds Beckett University. With over 12 years of coaching experience and seven years working as a teacher, he has developed a strong understanding of how children learn, develop, and thrive through sport.

Before joining Richmond House, Mr Wicks worked within Southampton FC’s Academy, gaining valuable experience in a high-quality coaching environment.

Mr Wicks is passionate about the wider benefits of sport. He believes coaching is about more than developing physical and technical skills – it also plays a vital role in building confidence, resilience, determination, positive relationships, and a lifelong enjoyment of being active.

We are delighted that Mr Wicks has joined the Richmond House community and look forward to continuing to see the positive impact of his work with our pupils.
