After weeks of careful preparation, our Upper School pupils shared two thoughtful and festive Christmas services at St Chad’s Church, each with its own distinctive character.
Pupils in Years 3 and 4 presented A Hygge Christmas Service, while Years 5 and 6 led A Dickensian Christmas Service. Both services featured a rich programme of beautiful songs, drama performances, readings, and congregational carols, creating a warm and reflective atmosphere for the Richmond House community.
Headteacher, Mrs Young, commented:
“The children have worked incredibly hard in their Music and Performing Arts lessons and sessions this term, and it was a joy to see them shine. They performed with confidence and clearly loved sharing the experience with our community. I would like to thank Mrs MacGregor and all of our music and drama teachers for their dedication and hard work throughout the term in preparing the pupils so beautifully. These services are always a highlight of the year, and I’m very grateful to everyone who came along to support the pupils.”
