Our Headteacher, Mrs Young, reflects on the first half of the Autumn term:
“Yet again we have had an action-packed start to the academic year. I can hardly believe how much progress has been made in the classroom and how many enrichment activities have been experienced in just seven weeks. Our pupils are truly embodying our core values of participation, enjoyment, achievement, and kindness. They have shown a genuine enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to embracing every opportunity that has come their way, which has been facilitated by our hard-working and inspirational staff, to whom I am endlessly grateful.
The heart of our school remains our culture of kindness, which continues to flourish. This term, the children have shown great thoughtfulness and empathy as we explored the importance of gratitude, both for the people in our lives and for the simple gifts we enjoy. This spirit of gratitude shone through beautifully in our uplifting Harvest gathering on the final day of the half term.
We are excited about the adventures and learning that the next half term will bring!”
