On Wednesday, Year 1 enjoyed an exciting visit to Dwell, a local estate and letting agent in Headingley. The children were fascinated to learn about what happens in their busy office, from taking calls and arranging viewings to matching people with their perfect homes.
They even had the chance to step into the role of estate agents themselves, pretending to organise viewings to help clients find houses – a brilliant hands-on way to bring their learning to life!
The visit provided a wonderful real-world link to their Humanities topic, Our Local Area, helping pupils understand more about the different roles and businesses that make up our community. It was a fantastic way to round off the topic, and we’re very grateful to Mr and Mrs Graham for welcoming us and giving the children such an engaging and memorable learning experience.
