On Monday, Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Leeds Central Library as part of our focus on promoting reading for pleasure both in school and at home.
The visit coincided with the library’s Heritage Open Days, a national event held every September to celebrate heritage, community, and history. It’s a time when stories are shared, traditions explored, and histories brought to life.
Our pupils were captivated by the library’s stunning architecture, had the chance to explore books dating back to the 1800s, and discovered more about this incredible space at the heart of our city.
