What an incredible day we had at our 12-hour Dance-a-thon! From 7am through to 7pm, pupils, staff, and families filled the school with music, movement, and so much joy, all while raising an amazing £1,695 (and donations are still open if you’d like to support us further!).
The highlights were endless: from solo and group performances that wowed, to the entire school coming together for an unforgettable Cha Cha Slide. We danced the Hokey Cokey, tried Irish dancing, grooved to YMCA, and even had Baby Shark make an appearance. We really saw it all!
A huge thank you to our incredible Parents’ Association for all the hard work that went into preparing and running the event, and to the brilliant Miss Pownall, who alongside Mr Caygill and our fantastic staff team, led activities, cheered everyone on, and did an outstanding job making sure the dancing never stopped!
Special mention must also go to the amazing pupils who kept dancing for so many hours, their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment were truly inspiring.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously and to everyone who played a part in making the day such a success, whether you danced, supported, organised, donated, or cheered us on.
All money raised will go towards creating a wonderful outdoor stage and adding exciting new play equipment, giving our pupils even more opportunities to perform, play, and shine.
What a day. What a community!
