We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of one of our outstanding Year 6 leavers, who recently competed at the English National Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

Competing in four events, the 200m, 400m, and 800m Freestyle, as well as the 400m Individual Medley, she was one of only five 12-year-olds invited to race in each event against competitors from the 13-year-old age group. Even more impressively, she is still just 11 years old – in swimming, athletes compete based on the age they will be on 31st December of the competition year.

Despite the odds and being one of the youngest in her category, she smashed her personal bests in every race, rising to the challenge with incredible composure and determination. Her hard work paid off in a big way, with two top 10 national finishes – 7th in the 800m Freestyle and 9th in the 400m Freestyle.

Clearly inspired by fellow RHS alumna Leah Schlosshan, who recently competed for Team GB at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, she is already following in some very special footsteps.

We are so proud of her drive, talent, and resilience, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her as she embarks on the next chapter of her journey. Congratulations, your Richmond House family is cheering you on every step of the way!
