Year 3 were thrilled to start their week with a visit to the stunning RHS Garden Harlow Carr, and the trip certainly lived up to expectations! Pupils immersed themselves in the peaceful surroundings, reinforcing their science studies on the natural world and sustainable planting. They had great fun potting wildflowers, discovering different plant-derived materials, and carrying out a fair test to compare the strength and durability of bioplastic versus traditional plastic bags. After lunch, the children enjoyed exploring the various playgrounds and taking in the beautiful gardens of Harlow Carr.
