This week, our Year 6 pupils took a memorable step back in time with a visit to Murton Park, where they experienced what life was like on the Home Front during World War II.
Through a series of immersive and hands-on activities, the children explored key aspects of wartime life, from the evacuation process and air raid precautions to the everyday challenges faced by families during the war.
It was a fantastic and engaging way to bring their history learning to life, deepening their understanding through real-world experiences.
