We are immensely proud of our incredibly talented and hardworking Year 6 pupils, who delivered two spectacular performances of Over the Rainbow which sent their audiences into raptures. It was a celebration not only of our pupils’ incredible talent and commitment, but of everything we value in the performing arts at Richmond House School.

Reflecting on the occasion, Headteacher Mrs Sharon Young shared:

“At Richmond House, we believe that performing arts play a vital role in a child’s development. Whether it’s on stage, behind the scenes, or in the rehearsal room, these experiences foster creativity, teamwork, resilience, and confidence. They give pupils the chance to express themselves, take risks, and support one another – all within an environment that is as joyful as it is enriching.

Watching our Year 6 pupils shine so brightly, delighting their audience and lifting one another up, was a perfect reflection of why we place such strong emphasis on drama and music across the school.”

Director of Music and Performing Arts, Mrs MacGregor, echoed this pride:

“Over the Rainbow was a magical journey from start to finish, and our Year 6 children brought every moment to life with remarkable passion and talent. Their performances were full of heart, humour, and confidence – a true testament to their hard work and dedication. It was a joy to watch, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished.”
