What a fantastic morning our Pre-School pupils had visiting Meanwood Farm as part of their Life Cycles topic!
The children embraced the opportunity to go pond dipping and while the tadpoles proved elusive, they loved discovering and learning about other fascinating pond life. Their curiosity and gentle handling of the creatures showed a lovely sense of care and concern for the natural world.
The farm animals were another big hit, with lots of excitement and chatter as they explored with their friends. Surrounded by blooming plants and plenty of fresh air, it was a brilliant hands-on learning experience that brought their classroom topic to life.
