It was a delight to see so many pupils, parents, and staff lace up their trainers for the second annual Richmond House School Mini Marathon!

The event was inspired by the upcoming Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, and it was a joy to witness everyone channelling the spirit of the marathon as they made their way around the 1km course through the Richmond House School playing fields. Together, we covered an incredible 411km (257 miles) before the school day even began. That’s the equivalent of 10 full marathons!

But this was more than just a run – it was a chance to support a great cause and raise funds for the Leeds Hospitals Charity, specifically the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.

We are thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity, we have raised an amazing £1,092, bringing our total over the past two years to £2,352. To each and every one of you who contributed so generously, we offer our heartfelt gratitude.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Parents’ Association, our brilliant Year 6 helpers, and all staff who supported the event and made the morning so memorable.
