Year 3 had an unforgettable day at Leeds City Museum on Thursday as part of their Ancient Egyptians topic. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to deepen their understanding of Egyptian history and culture through hands-on learning and exploration.
One of the highlights of the day was a mummification workshop, where pupils got to experience the fascinating process behind this ancient tradition. They also had the chance to visit the museum’s famous Leeds Mummy, Nesyamun, bringing their classroom learning to life.
To round off an already exciting visit, the children also enjoyed exploring the Miffy exhibition, adding an extra element of fun to their trip! A wonderful day of discovery, learning, and adventure was had by all.
