This week, talented pupils from our school orchestra had the exciting opportunity to attend Junior Orchestra Day at Harrogate Ladies’ College. Throughout the day, they took part in rehearsals, learned new pieces, and collaborated with young musicians from other schools. The experience culminated in a fantastic final performance for parents, teachers, and invited guests.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for our budding woodwind, brass, and string players to develop their skills, work as part of a larger ensemble, and celebrate the joy of orchestral music. Mrs MacGregor praised the children, saying, “They were excellent role models for our school, rehearsing and performing brilliantly throughout the day.”
We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to returning next year with even more young musicians from our school orchestra!
