We are incredibly proud of our Mathematics team for placing 26th in the country at the Quiz Club National Mathematics Championship 2023-24 finals, held at the University of Oxford. The team performed brilliantly, coming just a few points shy of a top 10 finish nationwide. The children’s conduct throughout the event was exemplary, and Mr Heaton was very proud of their positive attitude.
The National Mathematics Championship challenges children’s mathematical ability, mental dexterity, accurate question comprehension and speed of calculation, testing and extending their knowledge of time, measurement, money, fractions, decimals, percentages, statistics, geometry, and algebra, all within an environment that is exciting and great fun.
