Year 6 pupil, Lucy, has been auditioning for Opera North’s forthcoming production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ composed by Benjamin Britten. Following two rigorous rounds of auditions, we are delighted to announce that Lucy has secured a role as a fairy!
Choral rehearsals are scheduled to commence in April, with production rehearsals to begin in August. The production is set to grace the stage of the Grand Theatre in Leeds this October, before embarking on a tour to Newcastle, Nottingham, and Salford. Lucy’s very excited for her first costume and wig fitting over the Easter holidays, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievement!
