On Tuesday we had the pleasure of welcoming Northern Ballet Academy Teacher Edgar Lowman to Richmond House. Edgar, accompanied by Jon Chamberlain on the piano, led Ballet workshops for our Year 4 pupils. The sessions included a warm-up introducing basic ballet technique, creative exercises, and a cool-down.
The children dedicated themselves to the workshops, realising the physical demands of Ballet while thoroughly enjoying the experience. To see them so enthusiastically embrace new techniques and ways of moving was heartening.
