What a wonderful time we have had celebrating World Book Day!
All our pupils arrived at school dressed as an array of literary characters and participated in a range of fun-filled, book inspired activities throughout the day.
Our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils explored the books ‘Superworm’, ‘The Smeds and the Smoos’, ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘The Princess and the Wizard’ written by the author Julia Donaldson. Whilst pupils in Years 3 – 6 travelled to Hogwarts for a day of Harry Potter themed entertainment which included Quidditch, slime making, broomstick flying, owl construction and of course, reading.
