This week, Steve from Dinostar came to Richmond House School to host a dinosaur workshop for the children in Nursery, Reception, and Years 3 and 4 who are all currently learning about dinosaurs and fossils. Dinostar is an interactive dinosaur museum located in Hull, which includes a large collection of  exciting specimens of genuine and replica fossils, some of which Steve brought into school. The children particularly enjoyed seeing (and touching)  a replica Allosaur skull (which had big, scary teeth!) along with dinosaur teeth and bones!
The children also were able to create their own fossils using rubbing techniques and Plaster of Paris moulding.
