Tuesday 11 January – U9 Football v Westville House
This Tuesday saw the start of the football season here at Richmond House, with the U9s playing against Westville House. On what proved to be a very wet and muddy pitch, the boys clearly enjoyed the return of the round ball. With this being the first match of the season, each boy played in a number of different positions, learning about the roles and responsibilities required for each. The boys’ effort was fantastic and the sportsmanship on display bodes well for this season. We ended up winning the match 8-3 after a number of impressive goals. A greater depth of understanding team shape will be the focus of next weeks lesson. Well done, boys!
