Day and Residential Trips
At Richmond House School, we believe that it is important to broaden pupils’ experience and enhance their curriculum studies outside of the classroom.
Day trips are organised to exhibitions, theatres, museums, concerts, places of worship, field study centres and sites of historical and geographical interest.
Places we have visited include Murton Park, Eureka Museum, Harlow Carr Gardens and Cannon Hall Farm.
Upper School pupils also have the opportunity to participate in residential trips offering enjoyment and learning, starting with one night away in Year 3, building up to 4 nights away in Paris in Year 6.
Locations
Locations vary but have included:
- Cultural trip to Paris
- Outdoor pursuits break in North Yorkshire
- Scientific Study at Nell Bank
- Historical study at Hadrian’s Wall
With all of our trips and residentials we ensure that they are properly planned and supervised to ensure a safe, enjoyable visit.
In addition to offering trips and residentials, we are committed to enhancing pupils’ learning through inviting visitors from different faiths, professions and organisations to the School to run workshops and hold assemblies.
