What are the Fees?

Please click here to see the Fees

Do you have a discount for siblings?

We offer a 5% discount for the first sibling. This increases to 10% for 2 or more siblings. The discount stays with the child throughout their time at school, even when the older sibling has left the school.

When are fees payable?

Fees are invoiced in advance, and are payable by direct debit over 10 months. Where the direct debit payment option is not taken up by parents, fees are payable for the term before the term commences.

Is there any help with fees?

We do have a small number of bursaries available from Year 2, these need to be applied for. For further information please contact our Bursar, Tracey Looker on 0113 275 2670.

Do you accept Childcare Vouchers?

We accept Childcare Vouchers for Nursery fees and for Wraparound Care. Simply contact the Finance Office on 0113 275 2670 to find out the details.

When should I apply?

For Nursery and Reception starters we invite children in for an informal assessment around 6 months before their start date. To guarantee a space we recommend registering for a place as early as possible, however if space is available in that year group you can apply at any time – simply complete a registration form to start the application process.

When can my child join the school?

The main points of entry for Nursery are January and September. Reception children start in the September after they turn 4.

We also accept entries at any point in the year for children in Reception to Year 6, depending on whether we have the spaces available.

Do you have a minimum number of days for my child to attend Nursery?

Our minimum number of sessions is 5, or 2 and ½ days.

These can be all mornings and afternoons, or a mixture of both depending on availability.

Do you offer the 30 hours Free Childcare?

At the moment we do not offer the 30 hours entitlement. However all 3 year old children attending Richmond House School are currently eligible for the 15 hours free entitlement from the term after they turn 3 up to and including the term in which the child is 5. The balance of fees payable are due entirely in respect of the additional hours your child attends the school and for specialist & qualified teaching.

What is the settling in process?

For children starting Nursery and Reception a number of settling in sessions are arranged prior to their start so your child can familiarise themselves with some of the other children, the teachers and assistants and the school environment. You will also be invited to our regular Parents and Tots sessions which help the children to become familiar with the School. Our Foundation stage teachers are happy to visit the Nursery your child currently attends to ease the transition process.
If you join the School mid-year, we invite your child in for a settling in / taster session, where they can meet their potential new classmates and familiarise themselves with the School. Upon starting school your child will be assigned a buddy to ease the settling in process.
