On the last day of term before we broke up for Easter we held an eggciting  Easter House Wellbeing Day. The children enjoyed a day off timetable to give them a fun and enjoyable day after an eventful and unusual term. All of the children enjoyed taking part in a number of activities.

The children enjoyed a bubble disco on the bowling green, even though it was a little chilly. They decorated eggs and made bunnies. They went out on to the fields for a foot-golf activity.

The younger children went on egg hunts around the Outdoor Learning area and also took eggs that they had painted in their house colours on an egg and spoon obstacle course on the adventure playground.

Upper School also ran a house competition, Years 3 and 4 brought in egg designed around the theme of ‘helping people’ and Years 5 and 6 took part in the legendary egg drop! We saw some fabulous egg designs for the house competition, and there were some ingenious ways of protecting their eggs during the egg drop including using balloons, shuttlecocks and straws!

Thank you to the PA for providing the bubble machine, prizes and activities.
