We are fast approaching the end of the term, with only 3 weeks to go and with so much to pack into these last three weeks.
Teachers have been very busy writing end of term reports and I am now in the process of reading these. While it is a time consuming job, reading through all the reports is one I really enjoy. It is only when you reflect back to the start of the academic year, do you realise just what the children have achieved and how much progress they have made, individually and collectively as a year group.
This was very apparent on Wednesday afternoon, when the children spent the afternoon with their new class teacher. They all rose to the occasion and behaved in a mature manner, enjoying the acknowledgement of getting older as they move up through the school. Observing the children develop in personality, skills, knowledge and social interactions is one of the many privileges of my job.
