Last weekend saw the 3rd annual Richmond House School 5K Family Fun Run. This year’s race was run in aid of Candlelighters, the Yorkshire children’s cancer charity. The challenging course followed a route around the school’s sports fields and over 100 pupils, parents, friends and family took part. A 1K race was also held for the youngest children, some of whom were only 2 years old!

A great morning was had by all and even the rain stayed away. Richmond House School’s Parent Association sold refreshments to the hungry runners and spectators, raising over £200.

Altogether over £600 was raised for Candlighters, which is a fantastic total, thank you to all involved!
