Richmond House School choir has been out and about over the last few weeks. They took part in a Choirathon in aid of St Vincent’s Support Centre at Trinity Leeds. The Richmond House choir was one of 12 choirs that sung in the shopping centre over a 2 day period to raise funds for the charity.
This week the choir went to the Gledhow wing in St James’s Hospital to sing carols at the Leeds Cares Christmas Fair and they also visited St Chad’s Court and Mount St Joseph’s Nursing home in Headingley to spread some festive cheer.
The Richmond House School choir consists of over 30 children from Year 3 – Year 6, and is run by the Director of Music at Richmond House, Mr Hawkins. All children from Year 3 and above are welcome to join the choir, no matter what their ability.
