This year, Year 4 children were lucky enough to be included in the Young Enterprise Scheme. The scheme is specifically designed for children between the ages of 4 and 11. At the end of each module, the aim is for children to understand how individuals, families and communities make decisions that affect their daily life and economic well being. This knowledge, together with the activities and experiences shared, aims to give the children an informed view of the attitudes and skills that are necessary to succeed in the world beyond the classroom as well as within it!

These pictures show just one of the interesting, practical and fun sessions, delivered by Mrs Kavanagh, where the children are deciding where a Sports Stadium should be located within a city. A heated debate ensued and the children had some very strong opinions as to its best location.
