On May 15th our U10 football team beat Swinnow Primary 2 - 0 in the semi-final of the Moran Cup. We had qualified for this by winning each of the previous rounds of this knock-out tournament last term. The Richmond House U10’s then worked tirelessly to hold off an impressive Woodlesford side in the final. At full time the score was 0 – 0 so 10 minutes extra time was played and we continued to keep the dangerous Woodlesford team at bay and the match finished a 0 – 0 draw. Cup rules dictated that there would be no penalties and the cup would be shared so Richmond House are joint winners of this fantastic cup and retain it for 6 months.
