Pupils should return to school next term in their summer uniform, however, it will be acceptable for parents to choose the winter uniform on cold days until the May Bank Holiday.

Activities

These begin week commencing 14th April and forms should all be with the office now.

Dates for next term

Within the next few days, we are hoping to be able to publish next term’s calendar on our website. Hard copies will be available at the beginning of next term.

Door Code

Please note that this will change next term. The new code was sent home earlier this week.

School Office

The office will be open during the holiday from 9am – 1pm (except Bank Holidays)

I have had a case of head lice reported in School. In order to minimise the effect, would you please check your child's hair regularly.

Sponsored Skip

A huge thank you to all those who have handed in their British Heart Foundation sponsored skip money. The total is currently approaching £4000. If you have had difficulty collecting your sponsor money, then please do so as soon as possible and hand it in to your form teacher or Mrs Milne.

School will be open for all children on Tuesday 8th April when we look forward to welcoming Mrs Disley as our Headteacher. Pre-school and after school care will be available as usual.

I wish you a safe and happy holiday time.

“Guess the Vegetable Quiz”

Thank you to everyone who entered the “Guess the vegetable quiz” during health and fitness week. Lots of people out there know their veg, but I am concerned that some pupils think there is such a thing as a “brain potato”!! (thanks, I think, to Mr Heaton).

In Upper School, Hugh Kelly, Charlie Peach, Alfie Richards, Joseph Hill and Teddy Sargeant’s team scored full marks.

In Lower School, Anna Jackman-Straw and Matthew Cogan scored 8 out of 9. All of the above will receive a small prize, but the overall winners (based on their tie break sentence are Anna Jackman-Straw and Alfie Richards. Well done! Prizes will be received after the Easter Holiday.
