FOOTBALL
New
kit
Our U10 football team were given new team shirts, shorts and socks to
wear in their matches. These came from Sainsbury’s Active Kids
Vouchers and our team now look extremely smart!
Matches
Our footballers have been very busy this term with our U11’s playing
in both the Richmond House tournament and in the first round of the
ESFA Competition as well as in a large number of school matches. The
RHS tournament was very exciting. Our U11’s won their semi-final
against Lady Lane 1-0 and so qualified to play Ghyll Royd in the final.
This was an extremely close and nail-biting match which was a draw at
the end of full time and after extra time was still 1-1. So the winner
was decided by penalties which we unfortunately lost 3 -4.
