Year 4 Visiting Educational Theatre Workshop Ancient Greek Civilisation Drama Workshop Friday 28th September 2007 As part of their studies on the Ancient Greeks, Year 4 were visited by Tempus Fugit Educational Theatre Company. With the expert guidance of 'Daphne - an Ancient Greek rhapsoidoi (street entertainer) - Tempus Fugit's Suzy Wilson (B.A.Hons., P.G.C.A., P.G.C.E.) the children were introduced to some of the customs and pastimes of the ancient Greeks. They were given a glimpse into how Greeks lived, their laws, their society, their social standing and the role of women. The children were taught a Greek myth, and some children were given the opportunity to try on costumes and be involved in the drama!
